Installations
- We are looking for suitable candidates for positions with our installation group.
- We think the following trades would be closest to what we need likely, plumber and millwrights.
- We feel we need at least 2 individuals, and perhaps 1 lead hand or site foreman, either 2 plumbers, or 1 of each, however if the right candidate came along without these trades we would certainly look at them.
- This would be a steady job, min 40 hr weeks, 8 hr days, year round at this point.

- Door controls

The work we have would consist of the following:
- Installation of high and low pressure compression tubing, both SS and Carbon Steel
- Installation of low pressure PVC tubing
- Installation of some copper pipe
- Installation of some black iron and galvanized pipe
- Installation of cable tray
- Leveling and squaring of equipment
- Placement and installation of all P&P equipment on site
- Interconnection of pumps, tanks, hoses, fittings etc
- Interconnection of low voltage control wiring
- Running some PVC conduit
- Laying out of bays
- Reading blueprints
- Anchoring to floors, walls, ceilings etc.
- Must have the hand tools required
- Ability to work unsupervised
Notes: We are looking to build a professional team and need people with a positive attitude. Who take pride in their work, and will keep the focus on budget, time, fit, finish and details.
Our work speaks for itself; a professional crew is recognized by the others they work with, contractors, sub-trades, co-workers, owners, etc. When done we will use this work to sell the next job, we will expect to bring our potential customers through these facilities and our aim is to impress, not to mention have zero failures if possible.
Candidates will require the following as a minimum.
- Fall Protection
- Lift Training
- Confined Space
- CSTS
- Whimis
- First Aid
- Clean Drivers Licence
Working conditions:
- Approx. 70% of the work we currently have would be local
- Approx. 30% of the work would be considered out of town, anywhere in Western Canada, but primarily in Northern Canada
- Usually we try to work, week to week, home on the weekends
- However there has been times where we will coordinate a shift that runs through the weekend
- In this case the employee’s agree to work straight time in lieu of the days off, such as 10 on and 4 off
- Outside of this OT would be paid at time and half, with the exception of travel which would be at straight time
- The longest a job has run would be about 4 months during this shift cycle
- Most would run 2 to 6 weeks, mostly requiring a day of 2 back for start-up or to work the bugs out
We are looking for long term situations, someone looking for a different challenge, interested in the team aspect, that can focus on constant improvement and has what it takes for success.
